Ariel Gail

Professor Gail S. Goodman has been an accomplished professor of psychology since 1993, and the director for the Center for Public Policy Research, University of California Davis. She is widely acclaimed as a pioneer in the field of witness testimony by children and the eyewitness memory in legal settings. Professor Goodman, who has a wide range of publications and many grants to her name and is the recipient of numerous international and national awards. She has worked with a variety of organisations and governments all over the world to conduct policy and research relating to children who have been people who are victims of the law. She works as a Consultant to the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center which was previously known as the Multidisciplinary Interview Center - of Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She has been a member of several professional associations including those of the Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association. She was the president of the American Psychological Association's Developmental Psychology Division and Division American Psychology Law Society and Division Society for Child and Family Policy and Practice.
