Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn is an American actress. Her most well-known role was Skyler on AMC's Breaking Bad drama, and won Primetime Emmy Award Outstanding Supporting Female Actress for Drama Series 2013 & 2014. Other roles she has played are Jean Ward in The Practice and Martha Bullock from Deadwood. Anna Gunn, born 1968 in Sante Fe New Mexico fell attracted to acting during the Preparatory stage before moving with her family to Ohio. She did theatre studies at Northwestern University, and spent one term at British American Drama Academy. Anna worked in Chicago's theatre for a number of years before trying out for film and TV roles. Anna was selected to portray Arden in the TV show Down the Shore in the 29-episode series Down the Shore. The actress continued to make appearances as guest stars on a number of television movies and shows like Seinfeld and NYPD Blue through the mid 90's when she was cast in a regular role in the role of Jean Ward in The Practice. In the mid 2000's she was cast in Deadwood in the role of Martha Bullock for two full seasons. Skyler appeared on screen in Breaking Bad (2008). Sully was also one of her characters. Gunn was on stage for David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers. Gunn also played a part in the play Numbered Day. It is which is a series of audio-based plays. Breaking Bad is often centered around the love story of Walter White with his wife Skyler. Their strained bond and eventual end resembles the last years of Walter White's personal life.
